Andrew Khoo is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s North American Commercial Restructuring practice in New York.
With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in financial and operational restructurings for companies at various stages, from underperforming to distressed, across a diverse range of industries.
Mr. Khoo has a proven track record of advising companies throughout North America and Europe with critical initiatives such as cost reduction, facility rationalization, process and operational improvements, liquidity forecasting, working capital management, business plan development and both in-court and out-of-court financial restructurings. He has also served in several interim management roles including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer.
Some of his notable clients include: iHeartMedia, Monitronics, The Wing, NBG Home, American Achievement Corporation, Walter Investment Management, Dynata, Vion Foods, The Greenery, California Resources Corporation, Waypoint Leasing and WeWork.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Khoo was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company and an investment banker with Bankers Trust, where he focused on high yield debt and leveraged finance.
Mr. Khoo holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
